Peer Review Process

Submissions to peer-reviewed journals, such as this one, will not be considered if they are also being considered by another publication. In their covering letter, most journals require authors to confirm that their article has not previously been published or submitted to another publication.

The submitted manuscript is first reviewed by an editorial team. It will be evaluated whether it is suitable with our scope, has a major methodological flaw and determined suitable reviewers. Berkala Penelitian Hayati uses a double-blind review and the manuscript will be sent to the reviewers anonymously (The review process takes a week till a month, based on the reviewer). Reviewers' comments also will send anonymously to the corresponding author (paper evaluation and reviewed manuscript. The author (s) must make a revised process as soon as possible. The decision of the revised manuscript will be evaluated based on the reviewer’s recommendation from among several possibilities: published directly, need a minor revision, require a major revision, returned to reviewer after reevaluation revision and rejected. The Editor-in-Chief of Berkala Penelitian Hayati has the right to decide which manuscripts submitted to the journal should be published.
